Caller Resolution Table Parameters
The Caller Resolution Table window (Figure A-23) contains the caller resolution
parameters.

The parameter descriptions follow.
Parameter: Caller Name
Path: Dialup > Caller Resolution Table > Add > Caller Name and Secret/Password
Default: None
Options: Any text string; maximum of 20 characters
Function: This name is part of the incoming call and informs the local router of the remote
router’s identity.
Instructions: Enter a text string no longer than 20 characters that identifies a remote router. If
you configure CHAP as the authentication protocol, you must enter the remote
router’s CHAP name. If you configure PAP, you must enter the remote router’s
PAP ID.
