Creating an Inbound Filter

To create an inbound trafﬁc ﬁlter:

1. Display the Inbound Filters window for your selected circuit and

protocol, as described in the ﬁrst section of this chapter, “Working with

Inbound Trafﬁc Filters.”

Figure 6-14 shows the Bridge Filters window.

2. Click on Create Filter.

The Create Filter window appears (Figure 6-12).

Verify the name of the selected interface.

4. Select the appropriate template in the Templates scroll box.

5. In the Filter Name ﬁeld, enter a meaningful name for the new ﬁlter.

It can be helpful to includes the circuit name. For example, Drop_Telnet_E21.
