OSPF Parameters for Multicast and QoS Extensions
OSPF Global Parameters
Parameter: Multicast Extensions
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > OSPF/MOSPF > Global
Default: 0
Options: 0 (no multicast forwarding is enabled)

1 (intra-area multicasting only)
|
3 (intra-area and inter-area multicasting)
|
5 (intra-area and inter-AS
multicasting)
|
7 (multicasting everywhere)
Function: Enables OSPF multicast extensions and specifies the type of multicasting.
Instructions: Set the parameter as required.
