Installing the Second Ethernet Adapter Module

Install the Second Ethernet adapter module in slot 1 of the switch. Figure 1 shows

the module being installed.

Then, connect the LAN UTP cable to the receptacle connector on the second

Ethernet adapter module.

Warning:

You must install the Second Ethernet adapter module in slot 1 of the

Passport 2430. The module will not work if you install it in slot 2.
