To add or overwrite data in a ﬁeld:

1. Position the cursor in the ﬁeld.

2. Toggle the insert key to either insert or overwrite mode.

• When you enter data in insert mode, the cursor appears as an I ( ), and

your entry is added to the existing entry.

• When you enter data in overwrite mode, the cursor appears as a block

( ), and your entry overwrites the existing entry.

3. Use the keyboard to enter data.

Getting Help

Site Manager offers two types of Help facilities:

• Help with a window

• Help with a parameter in a Conﬁguration Manager window

Getting Help with Site Manager Windows

Windows that offer help have a Help button in the horizontal list of buttons near

the bottom of the window. For example, the Trap Conﬁguration window

(Figure

2-5) contains such a Help button.
