Writing Technician Interface Scripts

export

The export command allows you to move one or more local variables to the

global environment variable table. (When you ﬁrst deﬁne a variable, it is stored in

the local environment variable table.) Global variables can be accessed from other

script ﬁles. You cannot move global variables to the local environment variable

table.

Syntax

The export command has the following syntax:

export

<variable_name>

export

<variable_name> <variable_name>

Example

For example:

setenv A “string”

let B = 1

export A B
